Jackalope Starward Bottle 750mL

Acidified pale ale aged in whisky barrels after fermentation. The whisky and oak flavours work and absolute treat in this beer balancing beautifully against the acidic tartness and slight sweetness of the malt. The beer has an additional layering of salt (the Gose aspect of the beer) and this time out, an additional dash of Starward Nova Whisky, to tie the whole thing together. The beer has a lovely warm doughy slightly nutty aroma and sweet / sour palate that is soft and malty with a hint of oak and a well entwined warmth from the Whisky.
