Medium to full red colour with a good purple tinge. The bouquet is ripe and spicy, smoky and complex with some forward-development showing. This is a very characterful, interest-packed red with some apparent bottle-age on it. Rich and fruit-sweet with some gritty tannins balancing it up. A really lovely wine, which is drinking superbly now and has been sensibly given a little extra time in bottle before release.
