Deep, dark purple/red colour, with a rich dark chocolate aroma, the palate broad and drying, a bit flat and lacking vitality. The texture is chewy and thick, the tannins so rich they almost gum up the tongue. It's a bit too thick and chewy, and lacks elegance.
