A beautifully styled cabernet, the fragrant bouquet shows cassis, plum, spiced cherry, cedar and smoked meat characters with nuances of tobacco and dark chocolate. The palate is concentrated and generous, and delivers excellent fruit power and intensity, brilliantly structured by fine, chalky tannins. The wine offers fabulous harmony and integration. At its best: now to 2024.

Machine-harvested, destemmed, cultured yeast, 10 days on skins, matured for 15 months in French oak (18% new). Everything just as it should be; the cassis fruit and blueberry fruit is skilfully positioned centre stage, supported in the wings by balanced, ripe tannins and controlled oak. This certainly provides bang for your buck.
