Licorice and blackberry to the fore; undercurrents of deli meat, cassis, raspberry and pepper pull the wine out of the glass and into the mouth. As usual, this is supple and red fruited, however the tannins are still a little frisky at this very young age. Give it a decant or open it a while before you plan to drink it, to help straighten them out.
