About this product

Gloria is an unclassified and relatively young estate, but renowned for producing wines that stand up to many of their more ancient and storied peers. It is often regarded as one of, if not the, best-value wine of Saint-Julien. The vineyard holdings include a small section of fruit grown in Pauillac, which are allowed to be added to the final blend by special dispensation. Original owner Henri Martin later purchased the classified Fourth Growth Ch. Saint Pierre, for which the wines are made on-site at Gloria, by the same technical team. Gloria is now run by Martin’s son in law, Jean Louis Triaud. Major renovations of the cellars and facilities were completed in 2016.
