There is no holding back on the palate, with rich and powerful fruit. Lots of dark red fruits dominating the middle palate, with notes of chocolate layered in the background. Brilliantly balanced with warm spice and sweet vanilla, that are influenced by the oak usage and a firm tannin structure.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Intense, concentrated purple colour; superripe and very concentrated inky blackberry and dried-herb aromas, a note of walnutty oak, well integrated; a little chocolate. Full bodied, broad and expansive, the tannins supple and drying and just a little chewy on the back-palate and follow-through. A big, solidly-built red that is not varietal but that's not the intent. Very cellarworthy
