With this release we head back to France for the inaugural FWT 543 release. A classic Australian blend of structural Cabernet Sauvignon and rich, textural Syrah, reimagined in a French context. Fruit sweetness intertwines with brioche oak and lively acidity for a sensory delight.

Lovely ripe cabernet bouquet, cassis blackberry and cedar, and not so much of thetobacco mulched leaf character. Full bodied, concentrated and rich, with a fuller mid-palatethan the FWT 585. Impressive wine, and the syrah component is in the background. Drink 2028-2050.
