About this product

Tardieu-Laurent is a family-run micro-negociant founded in 1994, known for sourcing grapes from old vines across the Rhone region and crafting expressive, terroir-driven wines with minimal intervention. Made from 70% Grenache (vines over 80 years old), 10% Syrah, and 20% Mourvedre (both from vines around 40 years old), the wine is fermented with one third whole bunches and is aged for 10 months in one year-old barrels, followed by 8 months in foudres. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, dried herbs, and bitter chocolate are complemented by subtle hints of spice and smoky undertones. The palate is generous and velvety, with fine tannins adding structure and texture that enhance the overall depth. It captures the essence of Rasteau’s Mediterranean terroir, blending richness with elegance.
