About this product

Tardieu-Laurent is a family-run micro-négociant founded in 1994, known for sourcing grapes from old vines across the Rhône region and crafting expressive, terroir-driven wines with minimal intervention. Primarily crafted from Syrah, with vines averaging over 60 years of age and sourced from prestigious sites like La Landonne, this wine is 100% whole bunch and is aged for 12 months in new and one-year-old barrels, followed by an additional 12 months in foudre. The Côte-Rôtie Vieilles Vignes presents aromas of dark cherries, violets, black pepper, and smoky nuances. On the palate, it is elegant and layered, with silky tannins and flavors of dark berries, herbs, and subtle oak. Medium-bodied, with a vibrant finish, it is approachable now but will continue to evolve beautifully with time.
