Sure this is rich but it’s just been tempered enough to give it some manners. Dark chocolate, blackberry, scorched plum, saltbush and toast characters cruise persuasively through the palate. Tannin has melted in nicely and everything generally feels in good balance.

Deep and bright red-purple colour with a subdued but quite rich oak/fruit bouquet, the palate slightly chewy with liberal tannins including oak tannins, the fruit intensity medium-full. Mocha and char oak aromas came up with time in the glass.
