Back in 2002 'Peter Barry' decided to produce a 'Private Bottling' that was his own 'Personal Blend'. Intrigued by the ability of both Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon to live in harmony with each other, producing uniquely Australian wines with complex richness and body. The success of this original 2002 prompted Peter to repeat the process and harness the small parcels of Shiraz and Cabernet again into this multi award winning wine. With lifted blackberry and boysenberry aromas followed by a wonderfully spiced palate of dark fruits and exotic herbs, this is an attractive modern Australian classic.
