Deep amber colour, bright and clear; complex, mature, slightly oxidative bouquet with a dried-mixed-peel, nutty, almost leathery note, and no overt volatility. Nutty, rich, quite sweet palate. Lovely wine. The finish is firm and drying, leaving the mouth clean. An outstanding wine, very long, complex and tasty rather than luscious or sticky. Indeed, it's the anitithesis of sticky.
