Light straw-yellow colour, with a creamy lees and reserved floral bouquet, dried herbs and dried flower petals, a less sweet and more savoury riesling perfume and very attractive, while the palate is light and lean and gently grippy at the end, falling just a little short, but the aromatics are beguiling. The wine seems fully dry and ends with a trace of bitterness from the tannins.
