ZuccardiConcreto Malbec
About this product
Zuccardi is known for producing some of Argentina's best wines and is a specialist in producing the countries most important grape variety, Malbec. The Concreto is a modern and exciting example of this variety and as the name suggests, the wine has been vinified in concrete vats producing a Malbec of wonderful vibrancy, solid structure and beautiful balance of fruit and acidity. It's quite an austere style, with firmish, sinewy tannins, masses of dark berry fruit and chalky freshness. - 94 points Tim Atkin MW.

Saturated, black purple opaque, round plush structure, dense, intense, mouth staining colour, plush to a high degree, licorice, modern unoaked low cropped malbec. Black currant, fruit tannins. An excitement machine. Charred Rib-eye material. A superb wine. Great texture. Attention holding. Totally wonderful. A modern take on Argentina's most important grape.
