A faithful and well above average rendition of the famed Cotes du Rhone red. Produced from a blend of 80% grenache and 20% syrah. No oak. The wine rises above the ruck with its generosity of ripe red fruit and plumminess, aligned with a licorice note and a dusting of light, fine, dry herbs. The finish is round, soft and smooth, the flavour plentiful, and the potential for a repeat glass - high!
