Well concentrated with lovely pure lemon, grapefruit, nectarine flavours, supple chalky textures and integrated mineral acidity. Superb mid palate creaminess followed by slinky minerally finish. A wonderfully formed wine that deserves to be in the highest pantheon of Australian chardonnays. It's coiled and unyielding at first, with amazing underlying power. Spicy vanillan oak wraps gently around tight white nectarine and pithy, vivid grapefruit. It's a truly elegant thing that commands careful examination and will age very well.
