This Grillo from Sicily is a very fine example of the variety. If you’re new to Grillo, this will get you off to a flying start. We loved the bright, green-tinged straw colour, the aromas of white flowers, camomile and peach. The food-friendly palate will have you salivating at the first sip. A touch of oyster shell, a slight saline note, ruby grapefruit acidity and tang, then finishing with a tropical fruit note - crisp and lively, all you need is a plate of shellfish or grilled sardines.
