Very light, almost pale straw colour, backward for its age, and a subtle but highly perfumed, lifted aroma. Passionfruit, tropical aromas, with some tealeafy notes. Fascinating. The wine has a very good volume of passionfruit flavour on the palate, with softness and roundness and generosity in spite of the high level of acidity. There is some sweetness here too, but the acid more than balances it. A smart, stylish wine. Drink 2017 to 2022
