Deep, dense red/purple colour. Toasty barrel oak, quite strongly wooded and youthful. Palate is soft and rounded, gentle in texture and fleshy, with lots of powdery tannins and grip. A touch rustic and clutching. Needs ages, a big and not-so elegant RWT. Long term potential.
