Full red colour, with no purple tinges. Mellow, developed mature bouquet with some earth and toasty, nutty nuances, attractively complex. There are discreet spice aromas too, with a hint of pepper. The palate is soft and light to medium-bodied with light tannins, the flavour persisting well in its finer, more linear style. It's very dry and seemingly low dosage, the finish quite tight and firm. An elegant rendition of sparkling red style. (4-years on lees. Disgorged Sept 2013. Shiraz with a dash of viognier)
