Smoky charcoal, earthy-graphite aromas, pepper-spice too, the palate medium-bodied and nicely balanced for early drinking but has ample structure to keep happily for a few years. Good intensity; mild but positive tannins. A well priced and distinctively Barossan shiraz. (Up to 7% old-vine mataro. Vineyards in Seppeltsfield, Moppa, Kalimna, Vine Vale)
