Positive purple-red; Barossa here means Barossa region, and high elevation on the edge of the Adelaide Hills. This is a robust cabernet, but a very good one, the full-bodied palate with layers of blackcurrant fruit, a twist of olive, ripe tannins and an exact amount of French oak.

Reaching the beginning of a simply gorgeous peak. From one of the Eden Valeey''s finest high altitude Cabernet vineyards. Mocha, leather, textural, lots of flavour. The brightness of tannin grip and acidity drives this wine, a brilliant advertisement for the excellent 2010 Barossa vintage.
