The nose is spectacular. Wild with fennel, creamed with honey, smoked with tobacco. Talk about an announcement. The palate then, ok. Different story. Elegant story. Long story. Soft, fresh and complex. Apples and scorched creams. It takes gorgeousness for a walk on a long lead. It’s the perfect first-release. Not the best wine in the stable but right up there and, importantly, open for business now. Get ready to be impressed.

Pale colour. Attractive white peach, toasted nut, marzipan, pistachio aromas with tonic water notes. Well concentrated white peach apricot toasted almond, marzipan flavours, fine loose knit al-dente textures and long fresh acidity. Classic style.
