A later vintage, which required a little courage to wait until the fruit hit that perfect ripeness. This one has emerged really well. It’s a medium-bodied and stylish cabernet. Has a leafy, floral, red berry and slightly brick-dust character to complement. The palate is so seamlessly woven with fine, chalky tannins and integrated oak working harmoniously. Bright with a high-energy finish.

“Brilliantly deep, brooding red/purple colour. The bouquet is fresh and vibrant, with loads of cassis, violet and blackberry varietal fruit, expertly infused with cedary oak notes. The wine is very intense and powerful, full-bodied and well structured, the cassis flavours rocketing through on the very extended finish and aftertaste. A majestic cabernet.” 97/100.
