DalrympleCoal River Valley Pinot Noir
About this product
Initial aromas of spiced cherries, mocha, cranberry and tamarillo are complexed with sage and thyme from the whole bunch inclusion. Luscious red fruits give great appeal and carry through to the finish, tightly wound by natural acidity and silky tannins, a hallmark of this site. This finish is long and develops a savoury edge with opening that will grow with bottle maturation.

Vintage 2018
90 points The Real Review
The colour is a light to medium brick-red starting to show some age. The bouquet is attractively complex and beginning to mellow, with rhubarb and strawberry jam nuances, the palate lean and firm and slightly pinched thanks to a touch of bitterness in the tannins. This would work best with protein, such as poultry.
