Vintage 2017
96 points Halliday Wine Companion
Hand-picked, fermented with 25-50% whole bunches, or crushed and destemmed, matured in French oak (35% new). In Adelaide Hills terms is full-bodied thanks to its rich display of blackberry, dark cherries and plum, which dome with licorice, black pepper and spices. The tannins are firm, but in balance.

Vintage 2017
86 points The Real Review
Dense, vegetal and ripe fruit aromas, with a meaty, funky, smoked smallgoods note. The palate is almost syrupy in its texture and has a massive quota of tannin. Big, high-alcohol wine with very rich flavour but also quite astringent and oaky. Thick, chewy texture that persists. It needs time but the future is uncertain as it's not clean.
