Light to medium amber colour with tints of tawny. The bouquet is sweetly mellow, fumy and malty, with slightly caramellised poached peach notes and some funky touches. No sign of flor yeast. The wine is light and lacks a bit of substance; it has a watery feel on the tongue. A dry aperitif style sherry more in the amontillado mould but not of particular age or depth. It lacks concentration.
