Very deep, dark colour with tints of black and purple; sweet, ripe blackberry jam aromas greet the nose, the palate firm and drying, with abundant tannins providing a solid grip. A solid, firmly structured wine that is a trifle closed right now but promises to reveal more with a little cellar time. Good value.

Bright red purple in the glass, with oodles of spicy, plummy fruit immediately jumping out. Hints of brown spices, cola, licorice, blueberry danish, maraschino cherries and earth. Plenty of bright acid crunch, tight, gritty tannin grip and cola-infused back fruits on the medium-length finish.
