This is a very concentrated wine, with stone fruit, fig and pear flavours enhanced with texture from extended time on lees. A full and rich expression of Chardonnay from Midhill in Macedon, with similarities to Shadowfax' excellent 2008 release.

Medium bodied white wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often pale lemon coloured to pale gold.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
