“Rich, full-blooded red wine served on rails of velvet. This is a seriously creamy wine, its saturated plum and blueberry flavours gliding through the palate before finishing with a juicy flourish. There’s fine-grained tannin and quite high acidity, but the fruit and oak characters here flush straight through both. Mint and clove notes are also part of the show, as is smoked cedar. "Ripe dark plums, blueberries and graphite with some peppery, dark, wild-herb nuances. The palate has a very deep, rich and intense feel with such powerful blackberry and blueberry flavors. Long, smooth, thick and ripe tannins. This is a signature wine for Spinifex and it is in great shape in 2018. Exceptional. A blend of shiraz and mataro. Drink or hold.
