Dry, Medium Bodied style of Pinot NoirThe Pinot Noir is the newest addition to the 3drops portfolio. The Pinot Noir fruit comes from 3drops' Patterson's vineyard where the vines are approximately 30 years old. The wine has distinctly Pinot Noir aromas, with strawberry and dark forest berry fruit characters. The front palate is rounded and generous with lively fruit characters, texture and silkiness and the quality french oak providing the fine grained tannins.

Good depth of colour with a youthful purple tint and a bouquet that is smoky-charcuterie with a slightly composty vegetal overtone. The palate is rich and full-bodied, perhaps a little dry-red-ish, but undeniably full of flavour and structure. There's concentrated dark cherry to cherry eau-de-vie flavour and ample tannins supplying framework. Great value!
