Vintage 2012
94 points
Te Kahu means "the cloak", and a long and graceful cloak it is.The integration in this merlot-dominant fine red, brought about by years in our cellaring programme, is impressive. Elegant, medium bodied, and with a "claret-style" profile, it provides stylish drinking with flavours of sweet black fruit, tobacco and spice all in balance. A great example of the benefits of careful cellaring.

Vintage 2018
92 points The Real Review
Merlot 69%, Cabernet Franc 9%, Cabernet Sauvignon 13% & Malbec 9%. Moderately dense red with bright black cherry, plum, blueberry and subtle eucalypt flavours together with a suggestion of dark chocolate and vanilla. Supple red with good weight and mouth feel.
