From two Inkwell vineyards, plus that of Chapel Hill. Deep purple-crimson, the bouquet more accessible and complex than that of its siblings; there is more texture to the palate, particularly that contributed by oak and tannins, and the savoury/licorice/black chocolate nuances add to the fruit. This is the most complete wine, but I cannot place it above the Chosen House Block.

Very deep, dark, glass-staining purple/red colour. The bouquet is dense, concentrated, chaffy and savoury, perhaps a smidge overripe. There's a lot of tannin and some extractive chewiness here. It's thick and dense and very mouth-puckering. It needs a lot of cellar time. Even then, I'm sure I'd want a rare steak to accompany it.
