This Blewitt Springs-sourced bordeaux blend is a challenger for top dog at this pricepoint, at least for the style. Bouquet garni, red and blackcurrant, aniseed, dried tobacco leaf, graphite and pencil lead smattered across a pixelated finish of precision initially and then, girth, as the plume expands and flows long. This is really good. Laxity of oak and extraction, in the best sense. Don't get me wrong, this will age rest assured. Yet the stylising with the MO and price in mind is all class.

Really attractive red with blackcurrant and mint aromas as well as white pepper and other spices on the nose. It’s medium to full body. Chewy tannins yet they are polished and fresh.
