Deepish purple/red, excellent hue. Sweetly ripe blueberry and cassis and cedar, walnut oak aromas, tobacco too; quite delightful, and complex. Soft, fleshy and fine-tannined palate, delicious flavour and complexity, balance and length. Very good Bordeaux. Perhaps lacking the power of a top vintage, but a great result for the year.
