Deep, intense herbal aromas of plum pips, cherry skins, green peppercorns, and there's a hint of greenness in the tannins. Sinewy, sappy finish. Lots of rotundone (pepper) here. A big, inky red wine.

Shriaz sourced from Moppa in the northwest of the Barossa Valley with a little bit of petit verdot (6%) and viognier (4%), matured for 13 months in 20% new French, American and Hungarian oak. Super deep colour with notes of violets and frangipani fluttering over the deep plum, boysenberry and blueberry fruits. Spice-packed with notes of wood spice, fruit cake and licorice, it has impressive fruit density and depth, fine tannins and a blast of blueberry, macerated plums and spice on the exit.
