Extremely pale quartz-green colour; while the bouquet is still closed, and the palate is as yet unexpressive, the wine has an emphatic finish and aftertaste that is bone dry yet very long. Will flourish in bottle for the few who bother to cellar it.

Light to medium yellow colour; toasty bouquet with hints of paraffin wax. It's soft and rich in the mouth, and has filled out nicely with age. Harmonious, seamless and soft. Not overly dry let alone austere: it’s drinking really well right now.
