A puzzling bottle of this wine, seemingly in a time-warp. It was relatively under-developed and not showing the secondary character I expected. A bold, firm, full-bodied cabernet, ripe and correct but still fruit driven and lacking any of the charm and fascination of the 1994 Special Reserve tasted beside it. I would keep it in the cellar a few more years.
