Initially light on its feet, then dips before surging on the finish and aftertaste. Sophisticated and exhilarating.

Light, bright yellow colour; creamy, smoked charcuterie and custard, with a faint whiff of reduction; the palate is refined, restrained, subtle and streamlined, with crisp and very dry balance, lean and long through the finish. It's a little straightforward at the moment, and will doubtless fill out with more time on cork. One for those who like rapier thrust and unencumbered fruit purity.
