Vasse Felix was planted by Dr Tom Cullity in 1967 meaning that Vasse was the first vineyard and winery to be established in the Margaret River region. Intense, yet elegantly structured, it is the oldest serving wine in the region. 2007 was especially kind to those in the west while most other regions throughout Australia struggled through frost and high heat. The evidence can be tasted in this remarkable 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon that showcases the very best red varietal for the region expertly. With a seriously strong colour in the glass, the aromas and flavours of cassis and blueberry are obvious for all to see.
