Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is full bodied with incredible length and fruit-forward complexity. Viñedo Chadwick is the culmination of the Chadwick family’s wish to honour Errazuriz patriarch Don Alfonso Chadwick Errazuriz with an ultra-premium wine fit to take on the best examples on the world stage. The initial 1999 vintage was an immediate critical success, and in 2014, it became the first Chilean wine to have ever been awarded 100 points (by James Suckling).

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Subtle and very beautiful with currants, tarragon, basil and rose petals in the aromas. It’s full-bodied, yet agile and so fine-textured with superb tannins that provide multi-layers on the palate. It’s refined, yet powerful at the end. Suggests greatness and longevity. Lots of blackcurrants, stones and violets in the after taste. Cabernet sauvignon with a touch of petit verdot. This needs three or four years to show its true greatness.
