About this product

Seppelt Chalambar Shiraz is a wine with a rich heritage and pedigree, deriving its name from the nearby Mount Chalambar in the Great Western sub-region of the Grampians. Initially made as Chalambar Burgundy by Colin Preece back in 1953, Chalambar is a firm favourite due to its consistency, quality and value. The 2008 Chalambar was borne out of a warm year that saw the ripening season kick off early, much like the 2006. A heat wave event late in March was avoided after all the Chalambar vineyards had been picked and has resulted in one of the very best Chalambars that will go down as a classic.
