About this product
The 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape (55% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 8% Mourvèdre and the rest other permitted varieties) is a charming, mid-weight effort that has lots of black cherry, peppery herbs, truffle and forest floor characteristics on the nose. Medium-bodied, balanced and seamless, it grows on you with time in the glass, it has wonderful purity and elegance. It will age gracefully.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Raspberry, peanut, dried herb and lavender perfume, tar,and cherry. Medium bodied, minerally and dry, juicy but not sweet, meaty flavour, firm tannin, good long finish. Pleasing restraint, as ever. Great drinking.
