This is as close to perfection as one can imagine in terms of structure, texture and its complex fruit flavours. Great now (Aug 2010), greater still in another 10 years, and who knows how long thereafter.

It's still very youthful, but this has always struck me as a below-par DM. It has a herbal sappiness which sticks in the throat somewhat. It is edgy and not yet mellowing let alone soft. Good, but not a great vintage of this normally consistent wine. (Tasted from magnum)
