A very big wine with roasted aromas of toasted nuts and very ripe fruit. It's very full-bodied, solid, gutsy and tannic. Robust and just a little chewy, it lacks a bit in elegance but undoubtedly has the weight and flavour aficionados look for. The finish is quite oaky and drying. It's very good, but not a personal favourite.
