The 2000 vintage is medium to full bodied demonstrating great flavors of earthy spice, blackcurrant, blackberry and tobacco with a beautiful long finish. Drinking well now but will continue to develop for another few years.

Medium red, with the purple just starting to diminish; a bouquet of spice, bramble and blackberry woven through integrated French oak is followed by an altogether warmer palate, with chocolate, mocha and blackberry flavours, sweet oak and ripe tannins.

...Blackberry, blackcurrant, spice, tobacco and earth, dark chocolate. Medium to full bodied, fleshy and firm, holding ample fruit and shape with a long finish. Good release. Complexity and interest.
