Hill of Grace is carefully crafted by Stephen & Prue Henschke from an 8ha site in the Eden Valley. The 2005 is a stunning, layered masterpiece. Near the top are rose petals, violets and Turkish Delight. Aromas of fruits of the forest and mulberry emerge next, sitting atop deep-seated spice, tar and anise. Truly an incredible Australian wine.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Deep red colour with a distinct trace of purple. A beautiful bouquet, superbly fragrant, brightly fruited and concentrated, loaded with savoury spices and dried herb notes, complex red fruits, too. A great wine of fathomless depth and extraordinary persistence. A magical wine of terrific power and multiplicity of aromas and flavours, leaning toward the savoury rather than the fruity. A more elegant Hill of Grace. A great wine.
