PenfoldsBin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
About this product
Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon is said by many to be the richest and most robust of all the great Penfolds iconic red wines. It is the ultimate expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. First named by an ex-Qantas marketer, Bin 707 has sleek dark berry and dark chocolate characters that dominate with plenty of natural fruit sweetness. The tannins are present, but not overwhelming. The 2006 comes from what can be considered almost perfect. Excellent vine health coupled with a warm January and warm, but temperate harvest period has resulted in a 707 that will live on for decades.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

... a remarkable Australian cabernet. The finesse, the mouthfeel, the brooding length, the integration: everything.
