Deep red/purple colour leads into a brooding, slightly reserved bouquet, which seems to need more time to unfurl. What's there is pleasant if understated, dark plum echoing, while the palate is fuller in weight and structure, with positive tannin grip completing a lengthy finish and aftertaste. Good potential and outstanding value for money.
